L'Oréliane is an authentic and charming b&b , located in Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne, near Avignon, in Provence, on South of France. There are 5 bedrooms, an outdoor pool and a wellness area with Jacuzzi. The place is open all year round. Communication is in French, with some English and Italian.

The price per night starts at about 140€ for 2 people with breakfast (really amazing!) included in the reservation amount. Couples love to stay at l'Oréliane and praise the beautiful, old-fashioned decoration, the impeccable cleanliness and the private, quiet outdoor pool.

Children of the country, Christine and Dominique, the owners, have an unconditional love for their region. They have lived here for 60 years and are winegrowers from father to son. For the record, the name Oréliane is the contraction of Dominique's parents: Aurélio and Marianne.

In a quiet and soothing atmosphere, have your breakfast in the shade of the splendid Provencal hackberry tree, read a book by the pool or taste Christine's local specialties. Your privacy is always respected: the owners are very discreet and no one can see you when you are in your room or by the pool.

There are 5 rooms, all designed with passion. The charm of yesteryear coexists with a subtle touch of modernity. Each room is named after a feminized grape variety: Livaline, Alphonsine, Angevine, Muscadine and Cardinale. Some offer a view of the garden at the front while others are located near the pool at the back.

Depending on the room you choose, you will have the following amenities: high comfort bedding from Epeda, linen or cotton gauze bedding, organic home products from Rampal Latour, private bathroom, old fashioned bathtub, Kinédo whirlpool bathtub, organic bath salts, air conditioning, wifi, walk-in shower, soft bath towels and pool towels when the weather is nice.

At the back of the house, you'll find a small, clear swimming pool. You can swim in complete privacy. Deckchairs all around offer you a moment of pure pleasure, with the song of the cicadas and the nearby fountain providing the soundtrack. A fridge with drinks and ice creams is at your disposal. The pool is open until 10pm, so you can enjoy the lovely summer evenings.

During the day, the wellness area can be privatized upon reservation at the price of 50€ for 2 people. This includes a jacuzzi, hammam and sauna. Bathrobes and slippers are provided, as well as herbal tea, tea and some sweets. You can also ask for a massage, alone or in duo, performed by a qualified professional.

Every morning, breakfast is served in the dining room, or in the garden if the weather is fine. It often varies according to Christine and Dominique's inspiration, but it's always pretty phenomenal! On the menu: fresh bread, viennoiseries, homemade pastries, dried fruit, seasonal fruit salads, organic cereals, cheeses, yoghurts, homemade jams, coffee, tea, herbal tea and hot chocolate. And don't forget our delicious crêpes!

For your meals, there are gourmet boards: fresh or toasted bread, homemade aperitif cookies, olives, dried fruits, local cheeses, seasonal raw vegetables to dip in a tapenade or homemade anchovy paste. Try the Provencal plate with pistou soup, tapenade, focaccia, tomatoes in olive oil and goat cheese. A delight! Very nice choice of Côtes-du-Rhône wines to accompany.

The charming fortified village of Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne, in the Vaucluse region of France, is located in South of France, around 25 minutes from Avignon by car. Things to do in the area include visiting the many hilltop villages of the north and south Luberon, strolling in the Colorado Provençal, discovering the Mines de Bruoux or strolling around Avignon and its legendary bridge.
