Life in the hotel
As a bit of trivia, this 16th-century building has been owned by the Charial family for over 75 years. It has also been visited by Elizabeth of England, English actor Hugh Grant, French actor Jean Reno, and many others. The welcome is outstanding and always warm, even in the middle of the night. The staff speaks both French and English fluently.
Just a short distance from the manor house, the tree-lined patio and garden open onto three swimming pools adorned with white stones typical of the region.
To unwind, be sure to visit the spa: an intimate 500-square-meter space, featuring wood paneling and an airy atmosphere with large white sheer curtains. Facilities include six private treatment rooms for body and facial treatments, a steam room, a sensory pool, a fitness area, and a tea lounge.
Feeling a little peckish? The hotel features two fine-dining restaurants: L'Oustau de Baumanière La Cabro d'Or. Enjoy top-notch French cuisine in an intimate setting, featuring dishes such as layered pressed duck foie gras or Provençal pears in a refreshing hibiscus chutney.
