On-site arrival
Once there, you’ll discover a stunning villa overlooking Renécros Cove, practically right on the water’s edge. This iconic 1920s hotel, a true testament to the Roaring Twenties, is now a listed building. After years of closure, it has been completely renovated in the Art Deco style.
What we love most of all is the warm welcome and the staff, who are remarkably kind.
The 11 rooms and suites
There are only 11 rooms and suites, several of which have terraces with exceptional sea views. The most unusual is the Jasper Room with its bathroom carved into the rock.

Depending on the room you choose, you will have access to the following amenities: terrace with large armchairs or deck chairs, king-size memory foam bed, bathroom with rain shower and/or freestanding bathtub, separate toilet, blackout curtains, and high-performance air conditioning.
Life in the hotel
In the early morning, between 8:00 and 10:30 a.m., enjoy a wonderful breakfast featuring a selection of Malongo coffees, teas, hot chocolate, pastries and breads from local shops, cakes, French toast, pudding, eggs cooked to order, and sweet and savory products from local producers. Fruit is cut and juiced daily. Yogurts, butters, and cheeses come from the Bordier dairy.
Whether during the day or in the evening, relax at 1929, the Splendid’s main lounge. Here, you can enjoy a drink with your partner while gazing out at the sea. The chef also offers seasonal specials, bistronomic verrines, platters to share, and a selection of frozen desserts and sweet verrines. 1929 is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
In the basement, just above sea level, take a dip in the hotel’s stunning heated indoor pool with views of the Mediterranean. It can be reserved for private use if you wish. Don’t miss the spa, which features a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, tropical shower, and fitness center.
A beachfront hotel
The Splendid Hotel offers direct access to the sandy beach of Renécros. At the end of the day, admire the sunset from one of the hotel's four private terraces. A complete change of scenery guaranteed!
If you’d like to get away from the hotel for a bit, Le Splendid has its own private boat. You can book it for a swim, a sporting outing, or a romantic aperitif on the water. Downtown Bandol is just a 10-minute walk away.
