When you enter the hotel, your eyes are drawn to the beautiful books in the wooden library, the vintage city map or the art objects scattered everywhere. The staff is attentive and speaks several languages: French, English, Spanish and Arabic.
For the record, Oratio has decided to celebrate 39 local residents: baker, grocer, tea vendor, etc. It is the history of the neighborhood that is told through the portraits of these 39 speakers. As a nod to these singular personalities, the 39 rooms combine comfort and warm decoration. Pale yellow, powder pink, light green: it's like being in a Wes Anderson movie!
Depending on your room, you have a view of the Saint-Nicolas du Chardonnet church or the interior patio. The bedding is very nice and the towels are so fluffy to say it in English. A real pleasure after the shower.
Every morning, breakfast is served in the dining room. The dining room has beautiful vaulted ceilings, pale pink velvet benches and pop tables with an American diner feel. On the menu: a selection of pastries, breads, sweets, cheeses and cold cuts, as well as cereals and some hot dishes.
