Living rooms inspired by 1001 Nights
The library lounge is the beating heart of the hotel. It lies between the lounge decorated in the style of 1001 Nights and the winter garden. With its hidden bar, monumental fireplace, games and wood panelling, it's an enchanting place to enjoy fine food, precious spirits and forgotten cocktails.
Here, every object, chandelier and painting has been chosen with the utmost care for authenticity, resurrecting the romantic atmosphere of a forgotten era more brilliant than ever, with its procession of artisans, painters and writers.
There's no restaurant to speak of, but rather a small menu with simple dishes to share, like an excellent creamy burrata. We love the quote on the menu:"Sell yourself by making it look like you're giving yourself away, and never let yourself be caught."
Nestled in a subdued alcove, the water lounge is the hotel's most enchanting place. Reserved for the exclusive use of guests who request the key, this secret spa is adorned with a splendid celestial vault, its golden stars shining against a cobalt-blue sky. You'll enjoy a swimming pool and a hammam. Your reservation includes 1 hour free of charge.
Location
Maison Souquet 's location is ideal: in the 9th arrondissement, in Montmartre, a 2-minute walk from the Moulin Rouge, the famous Parisian cabaret. The Eiffel Tower is a little further south, about 1 hour's walk away. Looking for a good restaurant in the area? We love La Riposte, a tiny restaurant serving Italian cuisine full of flavor and originality.
Expect to pay between €350 and €375 all year round, whatever the period. Breakfast is optional.
Depending on the room, there is a walk-in shower or bathtub and Hermes bath products.
Not so much a restaurant as a bar with small dishes to share: creamy burrata, penne cooked with pesto, royal salmon roe or Royal osciètre caviar with warm blinis.
