A family story
From 1934 to 1938, Mr. Lovey, after having worked at the Beau Rivage Palace in Lausanne, built the Splendide with his own hands and realized the dream of a lifetime. Almost 100 years later, it is his granddaughter who has taken over: Corinne. And the succession is already assured by the great granddaughter of the family, Fanny. Together, they welcome you with great warmth and do everything to make your stay a success.
The rooms
There are 25 rooms. Depending on the room you choose, you will have the following facilities: king size bed, high ceilings, private balcony with view on the valley and the Grand Combin, air conditioning and private bathroom.

The house
It's as you walk through the house that you really get a sense of its history. We particularly love the dining room, with its original creaky parquet flooring, yellow and green stained glass windows and vintage wallpaper. Enjoy a hot chocolate on the panoramic terrace in winter, or a Spritz in summer.
Breakfast
In the morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast in the dining room. Breakfast is included in your reservation. On the menu: local bread, homemade jam, cheese and ham from the valley, fresh local eggs, fruit salad and excellent coffee. During the day, you can also enjoy a bite to eat in the hotel restaurant.
La table d'hôtes
At lunchtime and in the evenings, the dining room comes alive and transforms into an intimate restaurant reserved exclusively for Le Splendide guests. You can enjoy the daily menu. Remember to book your lunches and dinners when choosing your overnight stay.
Location
Champex-Lac is nicknamed the "little Swiss Canada" thanks to its vast forests, lake and traditional wooden chalets. The most beautiful mountains in the world surround you, including the Trient Glacier, Mont-Blanc and the Saleina Glacier. Don't miss the enchanting Alpine Botanical Garden, a 20-minute walk away, and the Artillery Fort, a veritable fortress hidden beneath the Alps.

Check-in is from 3pm to 8pm. You must leave the room before 11am.
