The arrival

The hotel has been managed by Karvin and Sven Bodenman for more than 15 years. Together with their small team, they make sure that your stay is as pleasant as possible. There is a great warmth here (which is not feigned or exaggerated) and you quickly feel at home, without the stress.

The rooms

There are 22 rooms and suites. The atmosphere is very cosy. Depending on the room or suite you choose, you'll enjoy the following amenities: very comfortable king-size bedding, heated tiled stove, fireplace, balcony with views of the Arosa mountains, bathroom with shower or bathtub, Nespresso coffee machine, teapot and daily refill of bottled water.

The spa

The wellness area features a Bergsee indoor pool with water at 32°, Techogym fitness room, herbal sauna, steam bath, tepidarium, infrared pine room, ice grotto, weightless floatation area and numerous massages and beauty treatments.

Breakfast

In the morning, a gargantuan breakfast is served in the rustically furnished, light-filled dining room. The view of the mountains is splendid! On each table, there's a small sign with the guests' family names. On the menu: a wide selection of local cheeses, meat, milk, eggs, fresh bread, seasonal fruit, yoghurts, cereals, exquisite tea and refined coffee.

Location

Whether in summer or winter, the Arosa region is full of things to do. There are numerous hiking and biking trails and over 225 km of ski slopes. Don't miss the squirrel trail that starts in front of the hotel. You can meet squirrels that come to eat from your hand. Nuts are waiting for you in your room upon arrival. Another must-see is the bear sanctuary.
