B2 Hotel Zürich is a uniquely styled 4* hotel located in a leafy district of Zurich in northern Switzerland. The arrival

On site, everything is done via your smartphone! From booking to check-in, from opening your room to check-out. However, if you have the slightest hesitation, don't hesitate to call on the ambassador assigned to you at check-in. You can ask for a guided tour of the building. Communication is possible in German, English, Spanish, French or Italian.

Dogs

By the way, dogs are welcome everywhere! And the staff take great care of them. There is a supplement (for the whole stay) for your companion.

A former brewery

The hotel's history began in 1867, when Albert Hürlimann opened what would later become Switzerland's largest brewery. In 1996, after 130 years, the very last beer was brewed. Ten years later, Google moves in and builds its largest search site outside the USA. A few years later, the building became B2 Hotel Zürich under the direction of interior architect Ushi Tamborriello.

Today, as you stroll around, you can easily admire the vestiges of the past, including the engine room with its magnificent brick floor and distinctive steam engine. We're also particularly fond of the old refrigerating ship where, in days gone by, the wort (a preparation made from cereals, especially barley) was cooled and clarified.

The bookshop

The hotel's most unique feature is undoubtedly its superb bookshop and its 33,000 books. Here you can enjoy breakfast (with a special mention for Miró' s coffee: delicious!), a snack or simply a glass of fine wine. The large windows hint at the room's industrial past. It's a pleasure to select a book and settle into a comfortable armchair beside the crackling fireplace.

The spa

During the day, don't miss the impressive wellness area right next to the hotel: Hürlimannbad and Spa. Completely renovated in 2022, it now sparkles with new life. Good to know: B2 guests benefit from a 50% discount on the entrance fee. Put on your bathrobe (provided) in your room, and you'll have direct access to the spa via a private elevator.

On the program: floral hammam, hot herbal steam bath, Roman bath, numerous massages, relaxation room, rooftop and outdoor infinity pool with one of the best views of Zurich.

Location

The hotel is located on a small hill in Zurich's leafy Enge district. If the weather's fine, we love Seebad Enge, a 15-minute walk away: an open-air pool by the lake with bar and sauna. Another idea: a stroll along the Limmat river in the middle of the old town. A very romantic place, especially in the evening. And don't forget the Arboretum, right by the mouth of the Limmat, with its tropical trees and cacti!
