In the evening, head to the bar for a cocktail prepared with refinement by Chef Thomas. The ambience is very refined, with a large fireplace, high ceilings, comfortable armchairs and often live piano music. Some cocktails are prepared with a mysterious spray. That's all we can tell you! For cigar aficionados, there's also a comfortable lounge where you can smoke a good cigar from Cuba or the Dominican Republic.

The hotel is located in the heart of Basel's historic center and offers a splendid view of the Rhine. The city has a lot to offer: a beautiful pedestrianized old town around the market square, more than 40 museums and a very pleasant cosmopolitan atmosphere: France and Germany are only a few minutes away by streetcar.
