Back to basics
It all started in 1989 in the kitchen of the Berghuus: Fadri Arpagaus, 6 years old, was still awkwardly stirring his first polenta with the big wooden spoon. Years later, he went to Bangkok and Canada as a chef and made himself indispensable as a private chef in Europe and the United States. In 2019, he returns to Switzerland and meticulously renovates the traditional Berghuus Radons.
The rooms
There are 12 elegant rooms with a panoramic view of the Grisons mountains. The interior decoration is entirely made of old wood. We particularly like the shower with granite floor and walls, the parquet floor and the comfortable four-poster beds.

The spa
During the day, enjoy the sauna area, the relaxation room and the outdoor pond. You can ask for a wellness treatment or a massage. Pure pleasure, especially after a long day of hiking.
The restaurant
In the evening, head for the heart of the Berghuus: the historic dining room, which was preserved in its original form during the renovation. A truly romantic ambience reigns here. Chef Fadri treats you to Bündnerland classics and dishes from all over the world.
The cheeses, seasonal vegetables and herbs come directly from the house. We love the air-dried ham or the Schnaps Berghuus (an alcohol) made from hand-picked Swiss pine cones. In the evening, by the fire, you can enjoy a glass of wine from Fadri's personal cellar.

Berghuus Radons is located in Savognin, in the Canton of Grisons, Switzerland. The surrounding mountains, valleys and lakes are full of unique flora and fauna. Admire the edelweiss, the alpine rose and the gentian (a flower) at sunrise. You may be lucky enough to see marmots, ibex or a majestic bird of prey.
