The name of the hotel comes from the black and white goats that roam the valleys and peaks around Saas-Fee, the word capra meaning goat in Latin. The two colors of the goats embody the philosophy of the hotel: yin and yang, the harmony between man and nature, body and spirit.

The staff is very attentive! The team warmly welcomes you upon arrival with a welcome drink. The check-in and check-out are very well organized. Communication on site is done in German, French, Italian, English or Spanish.

For your meals, come to the 1809 Brasserie, in a deliciously comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The menu changes every season. The majority of the ingredients are chosen from farmers and artisans within a 150 km radius. The chef, Sebastian, invites you to enjoy authentic cuisine, inspired by Swiss and Italian alpine culinary traditions. Mention should be made of the tasty Carnaroli Risotto!
A superb cellar
The map wine list includes vintages from all over the world, with an emphasis on wines from the Valais, the country's main wine-growing region. This is home to Europe's highest vineyards, at Visperterminen, some 1100 meters above sea level. The three main grape varieties are Pinot Noir, Chasselas and Gamay.
