Le Pont-Neuf is a warm and welcoming Hotel 5* in the heart of Paris, a 10-minute walk from the Louvre Museum and a 20-minute walk from Notre-Dame. The hotel is designed as an elegant Parisian residence, with a restaurant and indoor swimming pool.
Reservation
We recommend booking your stay at Pont-Neuf via Booking.com, which often offers free cancellation. Send us a message on Instagram if you go, it would make us super happy.
Our stay
We were lucky enough to spend a night here and meet a good part of the team. What we liked best: the hotel's ideal location, the high quality of the materials, the headboard, the fine curtains and the extremely pleasant spa. We are now in constant contact with the team to ensure that the on-site experience is always top-notch.
The arrival
When you arrive, you'll be greeted in French, English or Spanish. There's always someone at reception, day or night. The hotel occupies the building once used by the famous French brand Céline. You immediately feel at home!
The rooms
The hotel's 60 rooms are like intimate, welcoming bubbles. The soft tones vary from blue to beige to salmon. We love the art deco furniture. The materials used bring a touch of refinement and serenity: velvet, leather, wood, marble and brass in particular.
Some of our favorite rooms:
1 • Intimate Room • Photo • 🏞️
2 • Delightful Room • Photo • 🪞
3 • Dream Suite • Photo • 🛀
4 • Suite on • Photo • 🛋️
5 • Rooftop • Photo • 🌇
There's a little note for you when you arrive in the room. We like the quote by Tristan Klingsor (French poet):"Sur le Parapet du Pont-Neuf de Paris qui est si vieux, je m'accoude et je rêve." That says it all!
Depending on the room you choose, you'll enjoy the following amenities: Epeda king-size bedding, Nespresso coffee machine, private bathroom with shower and/or bathtub, heated Japanese toilet for maximum hygiene, Cinq Mondes welcome products, air conditioning, safe, flat-screen TV and minibar.
We tested the Japanese toilet for the 1st time and it's a real comfort, despite some discomfort at first. But we have to admit that it's pleasant and much more hygienic. Don't worry, there's still toilet paper.
If you're celebrating a special occasion, be sure to book the Suite Rooftop, which is truly the hotel's iconic suite. It's like an eagle's nest on the rooftops of Paris, with a 180-degree panoramic view. You can even see the Eiffel Tower.
Breakfast
In the morning, enjoy your breakfast in the dining room or in the privacy of your room. On the menu: fresh bread, viennoiseries from Lenôtre, fine charcuterie, farmhouse yoghurts, pancakes, seasonal fruit, organic eggs, tea, coffee and a glass of Céline Joseph Perrier champagne for a touch of luxury.
The contemporary restaurant
For your meals, the hotel is home to the excellent Odette restaurant (named after founder Céline Albar's grandmother), a veritable urban inn. It serves local, seasonal cuisine. Try the hay-smoked, mushroom-stuffed whole cockerel with parmesan buckwheat risotto! A great place to share a romantic meal in an intimate setting. And don't forget to admire the superb wave of wood on the walls.
The magnificent spa
For a moment of pure relaxation, the Pont-Neuf spa welcomes you every day from 11am to 7pm. In addition to the many treatments on offer, there's also a magnificent indoor pool with skylights, a whirlpool, a hammam, a sensory shower and a fitness area. We spent 2 hours there during our stay, and it was really very pleasant.
Location
Step out of the hotel and you're literally in the heart of Paris, in the 1st arrondissement, near the Centre Pompidou, the Pont Neuf and the banks of the Seine. The Louvre Museum is just a 10-minute walk away. The famous Rue de Rivoli is nearby, stretching for almost 3 km from Rue de Sévigné to Place de la Concorde. Here you'll find many stores and galleries, including La Samaritaine.
Don't miss a visit to the nearby Jardin du Palais-Royal, probably the most romantic park in Paris. It features notably in a memorable scene from the film Mission Impossible: Fallout, starring Tom Cruise.
If you're looking for an atypical, typically Parisian restaurant in the area, there's the famous Au Chien qui Fume just a 1-minute walk away, with its richly flowered façade. The interior is decorated entirely with paintings and statues of classic works depicting domestic or hunting dogs.
