On-site arrival
The charm begins the moment you step into the lobby: upholstered armchairs, stone walls, patterned carpets, gilded chandeliers and mirrors, and a color palette of almond green and powder pink. The staff warmly welcomes you in several languages: French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, and Arabic.
The Maison Favart is named after a famous couple: Charles-Simon and the actress Justine Favart, also known as Mademoiselle Chantilly. Charles-Simon fell in love with the young artist during a performance of the play Les Fêtes Publiques and they got married on December 12, 1745. The Favart couple was born!
The rooms
Upstairs, the 39 rooms are beautifully decorated with noble materials such as silk and satin. Elegance, pastels and a bohemian touch. A true opera decor.

Don't miss a visit to the nearby Jardin du Palais-Royal, probably the most romantic park in Paris. It features in a memorable scene in the film Mission Impossible: Fallout, starring Tom Cruise.
If you’d like to have a drink at the end of the evening, we have a great suggestion: the tiny cocktail bar at Château Voltaire right nearby: La Coquille d'or. The place is hidden behind a secret door... The atmosphere there is deeply enchanting and romantic. For us, it’s without a doubt the most romantic bar in Paris.
We have a great suggestion for a walk right nearby. It starts at 10 Rue Saint-Marc and takes you through three charming covered arcades in succession: the Passage des Panoramas, which ends at Boulevard Montmartre; the Passage Jouffroy, which ends at Rue de la Grande Batelière; and finally the Passage Verdeau, which ends at Rue du Faubourg Montmartre.
Finally, are you looking for a great perfume shop nearby? We highly recommend checking out the Divine brand on Rue de Rivoli. Ever since we discovered these perfumes in Brittany, we’ve been recommending them to everyone we know. You absolutely must try “L’homme sage” for men and “L’esprit libre” for women. Deeply poetic, nostalgic, and inspired.
