A secret address
The Brigitte cabin was built using oak sourced directly from the property. It is still a secret location that the owners wish to keep as private and exclusive as possible. The address is only disclosed after booking.
Exploring the estate
When you arrive at the property, you'll discover a vast, verdant estate. A tree-lined driveway leads to the cabin in the heart of the forest. Check-in is autonomous from 4pm. If you prefer, you can also take advantage of late check-out until 2pm, for a supplement of €35.
The treehouse
The cabin is suspended at a height of 3 meters, between 4 trees. The surface area is 16m² and you benefit from every comfort: queen-size bed with comfortable sheets from Kalani (a Fairtrade brand), electric heating, fully-equipped kitchen, cooking utensils, Italian coffee maker, pancake stove, fondue set for gourmet meals and silent fridge.
Outside, you'll enjoy a very pleasant shower on the balcony with a breathtaking 360° view of the surrounding nature, for a unique experience in complete privacy. Watch this video on Instagram for a glimpse. The dry toilets are located in a small shed nearby. There's also a fire pit at the foot of the cabin.
Some ideas for meals
Brigitte does not offer catering services. However, the kitchen is fully equipped to prepare a delicious breakfast. If you need to, you can pick up your bread at the Feuilletage bakery in the center of Lubbeek, open every day from 6:30 am except Mondays. They offer breakfast baskets on reservation from Wednesday to Sunday, to be collected on site.
Between the forest and the orchards
Cabane Brigitte is located in an exceptional setting, between forest and orchard, on a private property in Lubbeek, about 15 minutes' drive from Leuven. We love Leuven in particular for the cafés on the Oude Markt, the tranquil course of the River Dyle, the flamboyant town hall and the city's great architectural unity.
