Life in the hotel
The common areas of Finestra sulle Beccari are beautifully decorated. Nice selection of antique furniture. Everything is very clean and well maintained. There is a shared kitchen with a fridge where you can make yourself a delicious coffee or tea, have a drink at any time or have a snack. In the morning, snacks are available for breakfast: fruit, yogurt, cakes, etc.
In the morning or at sunset, take the stairs to discover the terrace on top of the building. An unsuspected oasis of tranquility in the heart of Venice. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy your breakfast there.
Location
The establishment is located in a very quiet street in the San Polo area, between Rialto and the Fish Market and 15 minutes from St. Mark's Square. You are close to everything. The neighborhood is charming with a lot of restaurants and bars. We really like Al Mercà, just a few minutes away. Also in the area, don't miss the Doge's Palace and the Basilica of the Frari.
To reach the Finestra sulle Beccari, take vaporetto line 1, direction Rialto and stop at Rialto Mercato. From here, go over the arch, turn right and you should arrive at the Fish Market.
Cross the market and turn left at Calle delle Beccarie. Further on, cross the small bridge, turn left and then right. On your left you should see Calle del Cappeller. The entrance door is just on your left at number 1585. Be careful with the stairs, it's a bit steep. Enjoy your stay!
