The Rosa Salva Hotel is a top-quality 3* hotel located in Venice, just a 3-minute walk from Saint Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace. We were lucky enough to stay here for 1 full week during the winter. A real gem! What we liked best: the sensational welcome from the Rosa Salva family, the free mini-bar renewed daily and the delicious patisserie on the first floor.
We advise you to book your stay at Rosa Salva Hotel via Booking.com, which often offers free cancellation. Send us a postcard if you go, we'd love it.
The price per night for 2 people ranges from 97€ to 327€. Try to book as soon as possible to get the best price and the best room.
We personally stayed in room 304 on the 3rd floor. It's one of the smallest rooms in the hotel, but we really appreciated it. The mini-bar is free and renewed every day with fruit juices and bottled water. There's also a Nespresso coffee machine with 2 capsules supplied daily.
On site, the welcome is really very friendly. There's someone at reception 24 hours a day. Antonio, in particular, is very smiling and pleasant. It's a pleasure to greet him after a long day spent in the streets of this splendid lagoon city.
No fewer than 6 generations have successively worked in the family business, and you can feel it from the moment you arrive: everything is possible, and always with a smile. The team speaks to every guest as if they were the first to enter the hotel, and for us, this is the very definition of quality service.
The hotel offers 22 rooms spread over 3 floors. Depending on the room you choose, you'll enjoy the following amenities: super-comfortable king-size bedding with pocket-spring mattresses, private bathroom, exposed beams, air-conditioning, perfect soundproofing, exposed beams and meticulously-crafted furniture in a variety of woods.
At night, if you're too hot or a little cold, don't hesitate to press 9 to call reception. They can adjust the heating remotely.
On the ground floor, you can't miss the patisserie of the same name! Run by the same family, it's one of the best in Venice. You can eat here at any time, including lunchtime. There are Viennese pastries, a very good takeaway coffee, small cakes, fresh pasta and many vegetable side dishes. Seating facilities. Very convenient.
The hotel is located in a quiet little street, just a few minutes' walk from St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge. We'd better warn you right away: the restaurants in the area are very touristy and often expensive. During the day, we always recommend eating at the hotel's patisserie.
For dinner, we tested 2 very good addresses in Venice: Mare Magno (the pasta is absolutely incredible!) and El Magazen, also charming. If you book at El Magazen, be sure to ask for the table next to the window (it's the one in the photo), as it's the most romantic and intimate.
We're a young team whose mission is to find the most beautiful places for a romantic escape. It could be a secret hotel, a unique hideway or a cabin in the woods, for example. Our blog is already home to over 300 exceptional spots in a rare collection. Follow us on Instagram and TikTok if you like this content, and enjoy your visit.
