Reviews
Couples love staying at Corte Di Gabriela particularly appreciate the prime location, the atmosphere that pervades the entire hotel, and the absolute passion that emanates from the place. You will receive a warm welcome in five languages: Italian, English, German, Spanish, or French.
A former aristocratic palace
The hotel was created from the restoration of a palace belonging to a wealthy family of Venetian lawyers. The owner since 2012, Gian Luca, wanted to combine the aristocratic heritage of the place with a touch of design. The furniture is by Mies van der Rohe and Kartell, for example. Take a look at the staircase at the entrance: it was designed by the owner!
The rooms
There are 13 rooms and suites in total. Depending on your choice, you will enjoy the following amenities: disabled access, super comfortable king-size beds, private bathroom with shower, iPad, air conditioning, honey-colored brushed parquet flooring, perfect soundproofing, flat-screen TV, minibar, and Ortigia toiletries.

The five most luxurious suites offer the following extras, depending on your choice: round bed, late 19th-century frescoes on the ceiling, Istrian stone fireplace, antique coffered ceiling, Philippe Starck chairs, and polished Venetian seminato flooring. These suites are ideal for celebrating a special occasion and marking the occasion.
Breakfast
In the morning, wake up to the aroma of hot coffee and the scent of pastries prepared by Gian Luca in the kitchen. It's Gian's great passion to adapt to your personal requests. Everything is fresh and prepared with love. On the menu: Italian coffee, pastries, fresh orange juice, homemade yoghurts, nutella pancakes, vegetable omelettes with freshly picked herbs and scrambled eggs with melted lard.
The terrace in the shade of the wisteria
After a long day spent wandering around Venice, relax with a spritz in the hotel's inner courtyard under the shade of the wisteria. Don't miss the beautiful old well, closed and covered with vegetation. You can also read quietly. In the evening, enjoy the selection of wines and spirits in a cosy and pleasant atmosphere.
Ecological commitment
The owner wanted to make his eco-certified hotel a part of sustainable development. Here are just a few examples of concrete actions: reception products are 95% recyclable, there are only glass bottles in the minibar, local products are widely favored and the autonomous heating system allows guests to manage room temperature completely independently, without increasing heat loss.
Location
You're right in the heart of Venice, with the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge to the north and Piazza San Marco to the south. Palazzo Grassi and the Guggenheim Museum are just a few minutes' walk away. There's no better place to discover the city! In case of rain, the hotel provides rubber boots and umbrellas. Omaggi da Venezia!
