Ca Maria Adele is a confidential and magical address located in Venice, Italy, in the Dorsoduro district, right next to the church of the Madonna della Salute. You are only one vaporetto stop away from St. Mark's Square. This 4* hotel was named the most romantic boutique hotel in the world in 2014.
By the way, I advise you to book your stay at Ca Maria Adele in advance. You can also find alternative accommodation on Booking.com and even discover the best romantic hotels recommended for their atmosphere.
The very friendly owners are Alessio and Nicola Campa, two brothers who are heirs to an ancient family of master glassmakers from Murano. For the record, Alessio's grandfather made the world's largest chandelier in 1950 for the Casino of Knokke in Belgium: 2600 lights and 7500 kilos of glass and gold.
The staff is friendly, very welcoming and welcomes you in 5 languages: Italian, English, German, Spanish and French.
The atmosphere of the hotel is intimate and bohemian, on the border between East and West. Every corner is like a theater set. We love everything: the subtle lighting, the kindness of the staff, the monogrammed porcelain, the spirals and flowers on the walls, the discreet classical music in the background, the large busts, the floral arrangements and the shelves of art books.
There are 12 rooms including 2 suites and a private apartment. Depending on the room you choose, you will have the following amenities: unique rococo interior design, private bathroom, balcony with canal view, super king size bed, linen curtains, silk on the walls, marble fireplace, air conditioning, Gilchrist & Soames hospitality products and a wide variety of beverages in the mini-bar which is renewed daily.
In the morning, enjoy a tasty à la carte breakfast in the dining room with its large bay window and 2 large Murano glass chandeliers. There is also a piano and large vases of fresh flowers. The tables are decorated with great care. The breakfast menu is very extensive, with a variety of fine pastries, seasonal fruits, fresh juices and Italian-style coffees. The French toast is delicious!
Outside, enjoy the terrace inspired by Berber traditions. If the weather is good, you can have breakfast there. The view of the domes of the Church of the Salute is fantastic.
You are in Dorsoduro, one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Venice. Art is everywhere here, with the Peggy Guggenheim Museum just a 3 minute walk away, the Punta della Dogana (permanent home of Francois Pinault's collection) and the dynamic museum dedicated to Emilio Vedova located in the Magazzini del Sale.
