The arrival
On site, guests are welcomed in five languages: Italian, English, German, Spanish, or French. The staff is truly lovely and attentive. Couples love Excess Venise particularly appreciate the fact that the hotel is adults-only, the breakfast in the garden, and the location just a 10-minute walk from the Grand Canal.

Life in the hotel
Outside, there's a beautiful private garden where you can enjoy a cup of tea, read a book or relax after a long day. You can also enjoy breakfast here if the weather is sunny.

Location
Excess Venice is conveniently located 10 minutes walk from the Santa Lucia train station, Piazzale Rome bus station and the Grand Canal. There is a vaporetto stop (San Basilio) within 1 min walk. St. Mark's Square is about 18 minutes away on foot. You are close to everything but far from the tourist hustle and bustle. In the evening, get lost in the bohemian district of Dorsoduro, in the small bars frequented by Venetians.

Reach the famous St. Mark's Square by boat, passing under the bridges degli Scalzi, Rialto and dell'Accademia. Then admire the historical buildings: St. Mark's Basilica, with its bell tower and the Torre dell'Orologio, the Correr Museum and the Doge's Palace.
