The Hotel Flora is a 17th-century 3* Palazzo that has been passionately managed by the Romanelli family for over 50 years. The third generation welcomes you: Giole, Heiby and Zoe. The hotel is located near Saint Mark's Square, behind Calle XXII Marzo, one of the most elegant streets in Venice, Italy.

Our experience
We had the opportunity to visit the hotel during our stay in Venice and it is definitely one of our favorites. It has a typically Venetian atmosphere that is magical and authentic. The value for money is excellent. What we liked best: the inner courtyard, the friendliness of the staff, and the quality of the breakfast.
The rooms
There are 40 rooms in the hotel, each with its own unique style. Depending on the room you choose, you will enjoy the following amenities: exposed beams, original period furniture, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, comfortable Simmons bedding, Rivolta Carmignani sheets, private bathroom, Ortigia Sicilia toiletries, and Murano glass chandelier.

Our tip: we had the opportunity to visit most of the rooms, and room 28 is clearly the most romantic. It's also the quietest and the one with the best view. If you have the budget, don't hesitate!
The sublime inner courtyard
The inner courtyard reveals an enchanting garden with a fountain and many plants. A pleasure to sit in after a long day walking around Venice. You can read a book, play a game, have a drink or breakfast. A rare jewel in Venice, lovingly maintained by the Romanelli family.
The family team
The staff is friendly, professional and very responsive. If you are celebrating a birthday or special occasion, be sure to mention it when you make your reservation. Hopefully, you will receive a small gift in the room! The staff speaks 4 languages: Italian, English, Spanish and French.
Location
The Flora is located 5 minutes walk from St. Mark's Square in Venice, in a very quiet street. St. Mark's Square is the only square in Venice that deserves the title of piazza, all the others are called campo. It is an irregular quadrilateral, lined with arcades and monuments absolutely remarkable, including the Procuraties. Its arcades are home to cafés, including the famous Café Florian of 1720 with its symphony orchestra on the terrace.
