Our experience
We had the chance to visit the hotel during our trip to Venice. The family that runs the hotel is very charismatic and always looks immaculate. Best of all, the atmosphere is truly special, and you can feel it the moment you walk in.
The hospitality here is truly one-of-a-kind. Barbara and Mattéo, the owners, welcome you like old friends, remember your name, and are always ready to help. You feel right at home from the moment you arrive. And above all, you can tell that the team genuinely enjoys running the hotel. If you’re looking for a restaurant, they know the best spots and are eager to make sure you have a great time!
From Murano glass chandeliers to magnificent paintings to tapestries, the hotel transports you to a world of luxurious wonder, like a beautiful time capsule from a sumptuous past.
The rooms
There are only 9 rooms. They are comfortable, spacious and very delicately decorated. Depending on the room you choose, you will have the following amenities: king size bed, private bathroom, Louis XV style furniture, safe, satellite TV, minibar, air conditioning, wifi and, for some rooms, a splendid patio directly overlooking the Grand Canal with a view you won't find anywhere else.
Some of our favorite rooms:
1 • Classic Room • Photo • 🪞
2 • Superior Room • Photo • 🎭
3 • Deluxe Room • Photo • ☀️
4 • Junior Suite • Photo • 💧
5 • Junior Suite with Patio • Photo • ⛵
Our tip: when booking, ask if you can avoid the room just behind the terrace, near the breakfast room. It's the noisiest room, and others are located more quietly.
Breakfast with a breathtaking view
In the morning, a hearty breakfast prepared by hand awaits you in the living room, enhanced by an antique wooden ceiling finely decorated by hand. Large bay window overlooking the Grand Canal. On the menu: cakes prepared by Barbara, pastries, fresh bread, delicious jams, cold cuts, assorted cheeses, vegetables, eggs, pancakes, and seasonal fruits. The coffee is delicious, prepared by Matteo. Eggs are also prepared to order by Matteo.
If the weather is fine, ask to have breakfast on the terrace, with probably the best view in Venice over the Rialto Bridge. What an experience! And, at sunset, what a pleasure to sip a Spritz while watching the bustle on the bridge and the gondolas passing slowly over the water. For us, it's the ultimate romantic experience.
