We love the brazier under the stars, the fireplace, the jacuzzi under the outdoor pergola and the fact that dogs are allowed.

The rustic cabin
The chalet is located right next to the forest, with no opposite or nearby neighbors. You can enter the chalet on your own, in complete privacy. With its rustic look typical of the Ardennes, it's furnished in a cocooning spirit that immediately invites you to relax.
The following amenities are available: bedroom, living room, fireplace, television, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, private terrace, fire pit in the garden under the stars, and private (covered) jacuzzi under the pergola. Coffee and tea are provided. Bathrobes are also available for use in the jacuzzi.
A cozy haven on bad days
When it rains or snows, the atmosphere becomes magical. There is a fireplace with a wood-burning stove, underfloor heating in the living room, blankets, candles available, a Bluetooth speaker, and board games.
The sound of rain falling on the roof of the shelter creates a very special atmosphere; you feel like you're in a cozy cocoon, safe and sound.
Breakfast and Groceries
When booking, you can order breakfast as an option. It will be delivered discreetly in the morning in a basket left on the terrace.
A small grocery store is also available on site, offering a wide selection of products: prepared meals in jars, savory and sweet snacks, local beers, wines, and champagnes.
Between the Belgian and French Ardennes
The refuge is located in the village of Dion, just a few meters from the French border, in the Ardennes region of Wallonia. There are many walks directly from the chalet. Céline and Pierre-Arnaud, the owners, have left a notebook in the chalet with their favorite walks.
Further north, we recommend a visit to Dinant, with its impressive citadel and the beautiful facades on Rue Adolphe-Sax.
