This Hotel 5* was built in 2022, on the occasion of the Swiss National Exhibition. It is the result of the joint work of architect Kurt Hofmann and students from the Lausanne Hotel School. The choice of a building on stilts is linked to the history of the site: in the region, specialists have found the remains of the first houses in Switzerland, built on stilts.

The price per night starts at about 296€ and can go up to 600€ depending on the pavilion chosen. Couples, of course, love the Palafitte! What a pleasure to wake up in a quiet private suite with a view of the lake. The staff is discreet, very efficient and speaks 3 languages: French, German or English.

There are 38 individual pavilions: 24 Lacustre pavilions and 14 Rivage pavilions. Each pavilion is furnished like a traditional Junior Suite and has a private terrace overlooking the lake and the Alps. Depending on the type of pavilion you choose, you will have the following amenities: king size bed, private bathroom, access to the lake via a small ladder, flat screen TV, wifi connection, coffee machine and Cinq Mondes welcome product.

For your meals, go to the Table du Palafitte, one of the best restaurants in Neuchâtel. The restaurant is located a few minutes walk from the pavilions. Chef Maxime Pot offers authentic dishes using local and market products. The terrace is magical in summer. In the evening, there is also a bar with a fireplace and an absinthe fountain, for an aperitif in the pure Neuchâtel style.

If you are planning a surprise for your partner, it is possible to opt for an optional "love" package with decoration composed of plaids, cushions and balloons in the color of passion, a path of rose petals, candles to the bed, a glass of seasonal fruit and a bottle of Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial champagne.
