An architectural masterpiece
This Hotel 5* was built in 2022, to coincide with the Swiss National Exhibition. It is the result of a joint project by architect Kurt Hofmann and students from the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. The choice of a building on stilts is linked to the history of the site: specialists have found the remains of the first houses in Switzerland, built on stilts.

There are 38 individual pavilions: 24 Lacustre pavilions and 14 Rivage pavilions. Each pavilion is furnished like a traditional Junior Suite and has a private terrace with views of the lake and the Alps.

Depending on the type of pavilion you choose, you'll enjoy the following amenities: king-size bed, private bathroom, access to the lake via a small ladder, flat-screen TV, wifi connection, coffee machine and Cinq Mondes welcome product.
Restaurant
For your meals, visit La Table du Palafitte, one of Neuchâtel's finest restaurants. The restaurant is just a few minutes' walk from the pavilions. Chef Maxime Pot offers authentic dishes featuring local and market produce.
The terrace is magical in summer. In the evening, there's also a bar with fireplace and absinthe fountain, for an aperitif in the pure local tradition.

If you're planning a surprise for your partner, you can opt for an optional "love" package with decorations including passion-colored plaids, cushions and balloons, a rose petal path, candles to the bed, a seasonal fruit bowl and a bottle of Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial champagne.

During your stay, there's plenty to do: fitness session at the gym 5 minutes' walk from the pavilions, duo massage, kayak rental, paddle on the lake, picnic with equipment and gourmet basket provided for 2 people, water skiing, two-seater paragliding, boat rental from the hotel pontoon and electric bike rides in the surrounding area.
