Why the hotel is great
Couples really like the Valsana, especially the warm multilingual welcome (German, French, Italian or English), the ecological commitment, the size of the rooms and the very pleasant wellness center with 3 saunas to relax in after a long day on the slopes.
What we also like a lot: the big windows everywhere in the hotel which give a feeling of luminosity and space. The view from the balconies and terraces on the surrounding nature is grandiose. The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained.
The rooms
The Valsana's 40 rooms and suites are carefully decorated in an industrial style. The warm tones are enhanced by Alpine touches. Natural materials pay homage to the rugged landscape. All suites feature designer wallpaper, embroidered armchairs and oak parquet flooring.

The restaurant
For your meals, head to the Twist restaurant, with Asian-inspired dishes that combine flavor, joy and nutrition. The atmosphere is chic yet informal. If the weather is fine, you can dine on the terrace, with a breathtaking view of the Arosa mountains. During the day or in the evening, head to the Twist Lounge and Bar to relax by the fire and enjoy a drink.
The spa
The hotel's spa facilities include a relaxation pool with mountain views, a steam bath, a sauna with woodland views and a fitness room.
The hotel offers original experiences. Here are 4 examples: diving in crystal-clear mountain water at -10°, testing your fishing skills on the Urdensee (hotel manager Claudio Laager is an avid angler), photographing the wild orchids that bloom in early summer and, finally, observing ibex and chamois from the Gredigs Fürggli mountain station.
