Le Spa des Chapelles is a delightful 70m² private spa located in an 18th-century farmhouse in La Bruyère, 15 minutes from Namur in Belgium. It features a sauna, Jacuzzi and private garden surrounded by bamboo and Mexican orange trees. For us, it's one of the most beautiful spas in the region! Here's our on-site video.

Our experience here
We had the opportunity to come here for 2 hours and it was even better than on the photos. What we liked best: the lovely fragrance throughout the spa, the feeling of cleanliness, the care given to each piece of equipment, the top-notch music playlist (we could have chosen any music we wanted) and towels that smell so good!
Sophie and Renaud are the charming owners of the spa. We've been in touch for several years to make sure the experience is top-notch. There's also Nancy, who looks after the spa and whom we've had the pleasure of meeting.
A converted farmhouse
The spa is housed in one of the wings of the Ferme des Dames Blanches, on the site of the village's former bread oven. It's a building full of character and charm.
The farm's origins date back to 1468, when the Carmelites (religious women known as the Dames Blanches) were expelled from Leffe when Charles the Bold sacked Dinant, and settled in Namur. The farm was founded shortly afterwards by the Carmelites in what is now the commune of La Bruyère.
The private spa
The space can be reserved for private use for 2 hours, from 9:00 AM until 10:40 PM. The last available time slot in the evening is 8:40 p.m. Prices start at €130 for two people. Included in the reservation: two bath towels, bathrobes, slippers, unlimited access to the water fountain, free-flow herbal tea, and welcome products from Gemology.
On site, you enter through a pretty courtyard with flowers and trees, surrounded by stone walls. There's always someone at reception, available on request or to serve extras.
In the spa, we love the fragrance of the linens that take you far away! Particular attention has been paid to decoration and atmosphere. Amenities include a stone and Corian hammam, cedar wood sauna, Jacuzzi, infrared zone, salt wall, tropical shower, relaxation area and bamboo garden.
The Jacuzzi is set in an intimate cocoon in the center of the spa. It's made of stainless steel (for hygiene) and surrounded by exotic, luxurious Padouk wood. The basin measures 1.50 m by 1.80 m and offers 2 seated and 2 reclining places.
The extras
- Trays of sweets from a local artisan baker
- Island tasting platters
- Mini-bar in relaxation room
The service takes place via a concealed opening behind an old Indian door, so as to respect your privacy.
15 minutes from Namur
The spa is located in a quiet area in the town of La Bruyère, north of Namur, in Wallonia, Belgium. You can easily park along Rue des Chapelles and Rue des Dames Blanches.
Feeling a little peckish? We recommend checking out Basile, just a few minutes’ drive away. It offers a cozy atmosphere in a spacious chalet, a small menu, and excellent ingredients—some of which come from the farm right next door.
