La Cabane LeLa is a cocooning Nordic-style house hidden away in Theux, in the village of Polleur, 40 minutes from Liège, Belgium. It's the perfect place for a country retreat. The accommodation is located on a meadow, on the edge of a forest, at the end of a small country road. The location is really top-notch: everything you need for a magnificent view, without losing any privacy.

We had the opportunity to stay here and have a long chat with Jean-Yves. A real favorite and, in our opinion, even better than the photos. Here's our on-the-spot video. What we liked best: the simply perfect location, the cleanliness taken very seriously by Charlotte (everything shines and smells good!) and the sleek Scandinavian furnishings.
The site was first dreamt of for many years before being realized by local professionals, in harmony with the agricultural environment. It's a project where every detail has been thought through with the utmost care.
On site, you always arrive independently, without running into anyone. Charlotte and Jean-Yves live around 300 meters away and are always available if needed. The house features the following amenities: brand-new queen-size bed with a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside, fully-equipped kitchen, wood-burning stove, brazier, Bluetooth audio system and sleek, cocooning interior decor.
One thing you don't necessarily see in the photos: the cleanliness is beyond reproach and it smells wonderful. It's all meticulously looked after by Charlotte. We visit a lot of places and it was quite impressive to see. It's a very important detail when it comes to feeling at home for the duration of your stay.
In the morning, breakfast is not yet available. We advise you to go to the grocery store in the village center (Le Petit Polleur), which offers fresh bread and pastries. It's a 1-minute drive. Alternatively, there's the Delhaize store in Tiège, 5 minutes away.
In the evening, Uber Eats and Deliveroo deliver, which is very practical. We tried it out. Don't forget to give the delivery driver arrival instructions, as ours got a bit lost before arriving. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, of course.

La Cabane Lela is located in Theux, in the Province of Liège, Wallonia. The Spa-Francorchamps circuit is just 15 minutes away by car. When the weather's fine, Spa is a great place to visit, with its casino, cafés and many restaurants. Looking for a good restaurant in the area? In autumn and winter, the restaurant Le Chalet Suisse in Jalhay offers fondues and raclettes to take away. Yes, you read that right! Really top-notch.
