Domaine des Thermes is a brand-new wellness hotel opening in February 2023 in Awans, a 10-minute drive from Liège, Belgium. Historically, it was an 18th-century farmhouse. Today, you'll discover a luxurious 2,000m² estate with heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and a host of aquatic facilities.

You can book for the day, the evening or for a classic stay with overnight stay in one of the 7 rooms at your disposal. If you stay overnight, access to the spa and breakfast are included in the price of the reservation.
Caroline and Stéphane are the owners of Domaine des Thermes. As a couple, they have always wanted to open their own wellness center in Belgium. It all came true in 2021 when they discovered a large farm with a unique character in the Liège region.
At first, it was just supposed to be a private spa and it has finally become a real domain dedicated to well-being! But the price remains more affordable than the average wellness center in Belgium.
You'll be welcomed in French, Dutch or English. The wellness facilities include 3 relaxation rooms, 5 saunas, 1 hammam, 2 XXL Jacuzzis, 1 cold grotto, an indoor pool heated to 31°C and an outdoor garden planted with trees. The facilities are brand-new, well thought-out and sufficiently spaced to guarantee a certain degree of privacy.
The main attraction is the indoor pool which measures more than 100m² and includes 2 areas: a swimming area and a spa area with bubbles on the floor, waterfall, massaging jets and bubble bench. Really nice!
If you'd like to sleep in, there are 7 rooms, each with its own personality and theme. Depending on your choice, you'll enjoy the following amenities: queen or king-size bedding, private bathroom with Italian shower, whirlpool bathtub, Smart TV, welcome products by Nuxe, hairdryer by Babyliss, mini-bar with complimentary bottle of water, wifi and air conditioning.
Throughout the day and in the evening, visit the hotel's bar-restaurant for meals or just a drink by the fire. Regional ingredients are the order of the day and all dishes are prepared with high quality products. When the weather is nice, you can relax on the outdoor terrace.
When it's raining or snowing, the atmosphere is very pleasant. Plaids and umbrellas are available if needed. Candles are placed around the estate.
Domaine des Thermes is ideally located in the Liège region of Belgium, about 15 minutes from the historic center of Liège. The E42 freeway is very close and allows you to come easily from Brussels for example. If you have the opportunity, make a trip to Liege! The city has a lot of charm. Don't miss the historic Hors-Château district with its small medieval streets.
