Built in 1887 on the seafront, this former mansion takes its name from the limestone rocks that line the coastline from Cassis to Marseille. It was not until the early 1920s that the property was transformed into a hotel. Winston Churchill, and later Edith Piaf, spent a few days there.

From this period, the building retains some precious elements of art deco architecture: its wrought iron entrance framed by columns, two balconies with elaborate corbelling and an astonishing staircase banister with scale motifs.

The hotel offers 3 types of rooms, 6 suites as well as the villa Cala Bianca for couples who want an exclusive place. Each room has a king-size bed, a bathroom with shower or bathtub and air conditioning. The suites offer a double walk-in shower, a bathtub and a panoramic view of the Cap Canaille.
