Les Cabanes des Grands Cépages is a fabulous eco-domain located on the shores of Lac de Lionne, near Avignon, in the Vaucluse region of France. This wild environment is home to 20 luxurious floating cabins, on stilts or planted with vegetation. Some cabins have a Nordic bath on the terrace. It's a secret, unspoilt corner of paradise. Some useful information: the estate is open from mid-April to the end of November. Prices start at around €200 per night for 2 people, and breakfast is always included. Here's a map of the estate to help you find your way around on arrival.
On site, the keys to the cabins are handed over from 4pm. A warm welcome awaits you, and after a few instructions, the team will take you to your cabin in a buggy. You'll also receive a map showing the paths and footpaths.
The cabins are spaced at least 80 meters apart to ensure your privacy. You reach your cabin by pontoon, staircase or boat.

Depending on the cabin you choose, you'll enjoy the following facilities: 15 to 25 m² bedroom with double bed, a terrace up to 25 m² with Nordic bath heated to 35° to 40°, bathroom with shower, reverse air conditioning and electricity.
We love all the cabins, but we've also fallen in love with Cabane Utopie, which is totally self-sufficient thanks to its solar panels and water recovery system. It is located 40 meters from the shore and is only accessible by boat. To your oars!
In the morning, a breakfast basket is delivered to your cabin pontoon. This is included in your reservation. On the menu: red fruit granola, faisselle, pain au chocolat, jam, honey, butter, bread, fruit, apple juice... To be enjoyed in bed or on the terrace in the sun.
If you fancy a dip, the infinity pool between the vineyards and the lake is open daily from 10am to 7.30pm. Swimming in the lake is not permitted.

You're just a stone's throw from the prestigious village of Châteauneuf du Pape, where a wine tasting is a must. And don't forget Avignon and the Palais des Papes, just 17 minutes away by car. A little further on, you'll find one of mankind's great masterpieces, the Pont du Gard, listed by Unesco. It's about 45 minutes away by car.
