We're in constant contact with the team's very friendly Alexia. We met in Paris in the offices of Coucoo Cabanes (in Saint-Ouen) to enrich this text.

Some useful information: the estate is open from mid-March to the end of November. Prices start at around €185 per night for 2 people, and breakfast is always included. Here's a map of the estate to help you find your way around on arrival.

On site, the keys to the cabins are handed over from 4pm to 6pm. You will receive instructions and can then walk to your cabin. Access to your cabin is by secure ladder, staircase or boat.

Planning a surprise? Almost anything is possible. Don't hesitate to make your request at the time of booking: floral decoration, cake in the tree house, petal trail or the services of a photographer, for example. If you wish to keep this a secret until the hut is discovered, please specify this during the booking process. The team is used to it, and will play along mischievously.

There are 25 cabins in total on the estate:

- 11 cabins perched in trees between 5 and 13 metres high
- 9 cabins float directly on the water
- 5 cabins are built on stilts on the water's edge

Each cabin is unique and meticulously integrated into its natural environment. Of the 25 cabins, 19 are designed primarily for couples, and 17 include a heated Nordic bath (already warm when you arrive). Here are our 3 favorites: Spa Nirvana, Spa Sauvage and Eldorado. They're all personal favorites, but they're all worth a try!

Depending on your choice, you'll enjoy the following facilities: 16 to 25m² bedroom with queen-size bed, bed linen, sitting area, electricity, heating, natural sheep's wool insulation, bathroom with shower, Bodum coffee machine, reading swing, private terrace with magical 360° view and Nordic bath heated to 40°C. No wifi.

During your stay, a lovely wellness area with a view welcomes you for an exotic massage, starting at €55 for a 30-minute solo massage. Also on the program: yoga classes, sophrology, Nordic walking and Tibetan bowls.

There are plenty of extras to choose from: discreet breakfast baskets delivered in the morning, brunch baskets with late check-out, aperitif baskets, dragonfly dinners, raclette or vegetarian raclette. Good to know: the team works exclusively with local producers from the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.

Cabanes des Grands Reflets are located around Etang Verchat, in Joncherey, just a few minutes from Alsace, Switzerland and Germany. Do you like walking? The Francovélosuisse and Eurovélo6 trails are very close by, making them perfect for cycling or walking. It's also possible to go fishing and, of course, take a walk on the pond if you've booked a floating cabin.
