The owners
Mariet and Chris are the charming owners. They travel a lot and love discovering unique places to recharge their batteries. In Hasselt, they had trouble finding what they had experienced elsewhere. And so Suite Escape was born.
Chris speaks Dutch, French, and English, while Mariet speaks Dutch, French, English, and German.
The arrival
On-site check-in is completely autonomous, thanks to a digital lock. You can park your car in a secure private parking lot just 50 meters from the accommodation. This is optional and costs €15.
The equipment
- Bedroom: hotel-quality king-size bed, high-quality linens, and Smart TV
- Living room: large, plush olive-green sofa and Smart TV, perfect for a cozy evening
- Fully equipped kitchen: Nespresso machine, refrigerator, combination oven, and dishwasher
- Bathroom: walk-in shower, luxury towels, bathrobes, and amenity products from Atelier Rebul (they smell amazing!)
- Terrace: romantic ambiance, climbing plants, covered hot tub, and private sauna
The suite is beautifully decorated (and very bright) with high ceilings. Spaces are airy and very modern. You really feel at home.
Catering
No breakfast is provided in the morning (for the moment), but there are many cafés nearby, including Boulebaar, which is a 2-minute walk away and which we really like. Coffee and tea are available in the kitchen. Throughout your stay, you can also enjoy fine wines or a bottle of champagne from the wine refrigerator.
Location
Suite Escape is located in the heart of Hasselt on a quiet cul-de-sac. The train station and the Grand-Place are just a 5-minute walk away. A little further on, don’t miss the Japanese Garden, the largest in Europe.
Looking for a good restaurant nearby? We love Levensboom, which serves delicious vegetarian dishes. Every dish is beautifully presented and always full of flavor!
A more upscale option: Ogst is definitely worth a visit if you're celebrating a special occasion.

The average rate per night starts at around €310 per night for two people.

Yes, we love de Levensboom, an excellent vegetarian restaurant just a few minutes' walk away. We also love Boulebaar for a tasty brunch or breakfast.
For a one-night stay, check-in begins at 5:00 PM and check-out is available until 11:00 AM. Early check-in is possible, subject to availability, for an additional fee of €30 per hour.
Yes, that's right, you'll enjoy a fully private, covered Jacuzzi that can be used whatever the weather, even when it's raining.
