When you arrive by the path winding through the trees, you can barely see the hut, hidden in its natural setting. You are welcomed by the friendly owner, David, who designed the hut himself. Both discreet and available, he makes sure that your stay is perfect. We love the many little touches, the impeccable cleanliness of the hut and the lovely smelling towels.
The cabin is fully equipped and includes a king size bed with Emma mattress, air conditioning, private hot tub, sauna, private bathroom and a large terrace with jacuzzi and breathtaking views.
The view is unobstructed in places, and the rest of the time you're in a veritable exotic cocoon among the treetops. There's also a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, oven, hob, basic condiments and Nespresso coffee maker.
In the morning, a gourmet breakfast is discreetly delivered by David in a wicker basket. On the menu: coffee, tea, fruit juices, yoghurts, breads, an assortment of pastries, jams, spreads... Everything you need to start the day! During the day, a soft mini-bar is at your disposal: still water, sparkling water, soft drinks, fruit juices and coffee capsules.
For your meals, you can contact restaurants in the vicinity, at contact with David, who deliver on site: L'Ambrosia at +33 4 68 24 92 53 (excellent!) and Barbara cuisine pour vous at +33 6 17 50 73 32 for example.
La Cabane is located on le Domaine de Joucla, in 15 hectares of landscaped grounds, 2 km from Alzonne, a village with all amenities. Carcassonne is 20 minutes away, famous for its medieval citadel, watchtowers and double walls. Other activities are possible in the area, for example a visit to the Abbey of Villelongue at 10 min or a visit to the lock of Sauzens at 20 min.
