Our experience here
We had the chance to spend two nights at the Mirage in absolutely perfect weather. We absolutely loved it. We were assigned Room 46, which had a private terrace and a view of the garden.
What we liked best:
- The divine scent of pine in the room
- The fig-scented shower gel
- Wi-Fi without a password
- The food is truly delicious (but it's expensive)
- The artichoke cream for breakfast (absolutely amazing)
- The entire staff is dressed very stylishly
- It’s a true 4-star hotel
- The excellent music near the two pools
What we liked least: The restaurant is excellent but really very expensive. For example, the bottle of water served with every meal costs €8. Ask for a pitcher of water instead—it’s free, and there’s hardly any difference in taste.
Rooms and Suites
There are 35 rooms with a gentle, relaxing atmosphere. The decor is bohemian chic, bright, and airy. The color palette features natural tones: beige, ochre, terracotta, and cream. The luxurious feel is enhanced by a few well-chosen ethnic pieces and large Pakistani rugs. It’s very tasteful and one of the best rooms we’ve stayed in during our trips to Provence.

Life in the hotel
When it comes to meals, you have two options.
During the day, the restaurant "Le Balcon" serves refined, plant-based cuisine from the south. It's perfect for lunch with a view of the sea.
Come evening, head over to Monsieur Yuzu. For starters, try the smoked salmon tataki with soy-glazed eggplant and mustard seeds. Next, savor the sea bass fillet, served with almond-crusted squash au gratin and a verjus-infused cream.
In the evening, don't miss the hotel's lounge bar, located on the main terrace. The cocktails created by Benjamin, the head bartender and mixologist, are divine. Try, for example, the "A Star Is Born": vanilla-infused vodka, a splash of champagne, and a sprinkling of gold flakes.
From the outdoor pool, the view opens up onto the village of Bormes-les-Mimosas and the Mediterranean Sea. Settle into one of the palm tree-lined deck chairs with a book in hand and enjoy a moment of calm in the shade of the parasols.
The hotel's spa offers a complete thermal experience designed to relieve tension and deeply rebalance the body. The program includes a hot bath, a cold bath, an ice bath, and, of course, the must-try hammam and sauna. We love the high-quality materials, the soft lighting, and the soothing scents. It’s simple but very pleasant.
In one of the four treatment rooms, let yourself be pampered with a relaxing massage, a facial, or a wellness ritual performed by the spa’s qualified therapists.
Good to know: You must reserve a 60-minute time slot in advance to use the spa. The number of guests is limited throughout the day.
The village of Bormes-les-Mimosas
Le Mirage located in Bormes-les-Mimosas, one of the most beautiful flower-filled villages on the French Riviera. Thanks to its microclimate, the village is home to nearly 700 different species of flowers, including many tropical varieties. A stroll through the medieval old town is a feast for the senses, filled with scents and colors.
As a bit of trivia, the town is home to Fort Brégançon, which serves as the official summer residence of the President of France.
From the hotel’s terrace or your own private terrace, you can see two of the Îles d’Or: Port-Cros and Le Levant. Set aside a day to visit the port hors du temps , and Port-Cros: Porquerolle and its famous village square.
From the hotel, the nearest beaches are just a few minutes' drive away: from the secluded Estagnol Beach (with its white sand) to the trendier Saint Clair Beach, passing by the small Cabasson Beach along the way.
