A tribute to the neighborhood
As you enter the hotel, your eyes are drawn to the beautiful books in the wooden library, the vintage city map or the objets d'art scattered everywhere.
For the fun of it, Oratio has decided to celebrate 39 local residents: bakers, grocers, tea vendors and more. The story of the neighborhood is told through the portraits of these 39 speakers. As a nod to these singular personalities, the 39 rooms combine comfort and warm decor. Pale yellow, powder pink, light green: it's all very soft.
The rooms
Depending on your room, you'll either have a view of the Saint-Nicolas du Chardonnet church or the interior patio. The bedding is very comfortable and the towels are so soft. A real pleasure after a shower.

Breakfast
Every morning, breakfast is served in the beautiful dining room. It features vaulted ceilings, pale pink velvet banquettes and pop tables in the spirit of American dining. What style! On the menu: a selection of viennoiseries, breads, sweets, cheeses and charcuterie, as well as cereals and a few hot dishes.

The hotel also offers an all-day honesty bar with champagne, selected soft drinks, hot and cold beverages...

Oratio is located in the legendary le Quartier Latin of Paris. As you walk down Rue des Bernardins, you'll soon come across the Ile de la Cité and the world's most famous cathedral: Notre-Dame de Paris. It's less than a 10-minute walk away. Also nearby: the magnificent Jardin des Plantes, the Panthéon and the Jardin du Luxembourg.
Want to enjoy a great dinner? We’re big fans of Hestia (external link), just a 10-minute walk away. The food, the service, the interior design… it’s sublime, magical. Keep this place a secret—it’s incredibly rare in Paris. It’s undoubtedly the warmest welcome we’ve ever received at a restaurant.
And if you’d like to enjoy breakfast, a sandwich, or just a cup of coffee, here’s the best spot in the neighborhood: Chanceux Café (external link) at 63 Rue Galande.
