Simone by Ernesst is a charming cabin tucked away in the heart of the forest on the grounds of the Bergendal campground. Downtown Brussels is about a 30-minute drive away. What we particularly love here: the terrace, the outdoor shower on sunny days, and the freestanding bathtub with a view of the surrounding nature.

The cabin
Simone was designed by Nicolas and built entirely in his Ernesst Timber Tech workshop in Wavre. The framework, window frames, specialized techniques, layout, and finishes... Put that way, it sounds simple. But it was a real challenge! Every step was carefully planned to achieve the highest possible quality.
The place offers every comfort: a queen-size bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a bathroom, a freestanding bathtub, a standard toilet, an outdoor shower, a patio, a barbecue, and a wood-burning stove
Breakfast isn't served in the morning, but there's a great bakery (Bakkerij de Coster) just a 5-minute drive away. It's open every day.
Location
The Simone Cabin by Ernesst is located deep in the woods, about 40 minutes from Brussels and 1 hour from Liège. The site is accessible by public transportation via De Lijn bus line 70.
There are many walking trails through fields and forests in the surrounding area.
