Through the woods
The path leading to the tiny house is lined with trees; as soon as you set foot on it, you’re already deep in the forest, surrounded by nature.
You can explore the area on your own starting at 4:00 PM. 2:00 PM if you opt for early check-in (€29). On the day of your departure, late check-out is also available until 2:00 PM instead of 11:30 AM (€29).
The tiny house
Designed to be as accessible as possible, the Simone tiny house is all on one level. Inside, you’ll find a double bed, a beautiful freestanding bathtub, a bathroom with a sink, towels, and a toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, a minibar, a dining area, and a wood-burning stove.
What we love most are the many rounded windows, each offering a stunning view of the forest. You really feel immersed in this soothing setting.
Outside, the patio has a small table and chairs for dining al fresco. There is also a barbecue for cooking delicious meals and an outdoor shower.
Some ideas for meals
Simone does not offer restaurant service. However, the kitchen is fully equipped and allows you to prepare meals and breakfast.
Early in the morning, if you’d like to pick up some fresh bread and pastries, Bakkerij De Coster is just a 5-minute drive away and is open every day.
Just a 7-minute drive away, the restaurant Très Simple is a great spot to share a salad, a meat dish, or a delicious fish dish with your date.
Between Leuven, Wavre, and Brussels
Simone by Ernesst is located in the heart of the woods in Huldenberg. The surrounding fields stretch as far as the eye can see, and the nearby villages have everything you need: a grocery store, a bakery, a restaurant…
From the tiny house, there are plenty of walks to enjoy through forests, countryside, and along riverbanks, particularly along the Dijleland trails. By bike, take the routes that the heroes of classic cycling tackle every year during the Flèche Brabançonne, winding through cobblestone climbs and breathtaking valleys.
Just a 25-minute drive away, Leuven invites you to take a leisurely stroll past its spectacular Gothic town hall and the Grand Beguinage, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
