Our experience
We were lucky enough to discover Kerbeleg during the autumn, and it was Fabien who gave us a guided tour in the most beautiful way. Fabien is curious about everything, incredibly friendly and has had several lives in the past, notably in Asia. In this manor house steeped in mystery, every stone tells a story and every detail evokes a bygone era.
Remains from the Middle Ages
The name "Kerbeleg" refers to the house or village (ker) of the priest (beleg) and dates back to the early 20th century. It has been a family home since 1962, when it was acquired by Fabien's grandfather and subsequently bought by Véréna and Fabien. But its history actually goes back much further: it's a former 15th-century manor house, transformed into a farm in the 17th century.
Inside, you can still see the remains of the Middle Ages, including monumental fireplaces and granite staircases. What a pleasure to chat by the fire in the living room, when it's raining and stormy outside. It's magical!
We also love the large pool table, the library where you can play board games or choose a good book to read when it rains, and the mandala vegetable garden, which is a must-see.

The three bedrooms are located in a small detached house featuring the beautiful vaulted ceiling of an old bread oven. Depending on the room you choose, you will enjoy the following amenities: French-made king-size bed, super-comfortable mattress from Emma, flat sheets in percale cotton, linen duvets and pillowcases, decorative fireplace, and bathroom with walk-in shower.
Breakfast
In the early hours of the morning, it's not uncommon to see deer passing through the garden. When you enter the dining room, you'll discover a veritable feast. Everything is homemade. On the menu: fruit juice, homemade jams, honey from the neighboring beekeeper, fresh bread made to a unique recipe, homemade salted butter caramel, scrambled eggs prepared to your liking by Véréna (her specialty!) and homemade cake to die for.
