Whitepod Original is an unusual, eco-friendly hotel in Monthey, near Geneva, Switzerland. You're in the middle of nature, at an altitude of 1400 metres. There are 18 private pods on the estate. These are luxuriously appointed tents with every comfort. The view of Lake Geneva is breathtaking!

Pods
Each pod is designed to combine luxury and ecology. They are like high-tech tents, with a novel architecture and geodesic shape. The pods feature a self-supporting frame that guarantees a solid structure while using a minimum of materials. They rest on a solid wooden platform. It's like sleeping on a huge cloud above the mountains.
Inside, the furnishings are luxurious and very comfortable. You'll enjoy the following amenities: king-size bed, running water, pellet stove, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, wifi, private bathroom, majestic terrace with views of the peaks and picture window overlooking the valley. A real cosy cocoon, perfectly soundproofed.

Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the Pod house in the center of the estate. On the menu: croissants, freshly baked bread, freshly squeezed fruit juices, hot drinks and a seasonal menu. Everything is local and homemade. You can also have breakfast delivered to your pod.
The restaurant
For lunch and dinner, visit the Brasserie d'Alpage Les Cerniers in the heart of the estate. Chef Fabianno Grassi and his team offer gourmet, local seasonal cuisine.
On the menu: cream of porcini mushroom, alpine raclette and saffron rice crisp, trout and fig risotto, or venison entrecôte, raw pear in jelly and poached in Prosecco.
The Tsijiri spa
Just a few steps from your pod is the Cabin Spa, also known as the Tsijiri, which means Alpine House. Here, you can enjoy a pleasant Scandinavian bath and an intimate sauna with a breathtaking view of the mountain landscape. If you want to extend your relaxation, don't hesitate to book a massage between 9am and 7pm.
The Social Cabin
Just a 10-minute walk from the pods, you'll find the Social Cabin. A rather unique place with a cinema, 3 immersive gyms for running, boxing or yoga, as well as a refreshing ice room and sauna with the most spectacular view in Switzerland.
Location
Whitepod Original is located in the canton of Valais, Switzerland, in the small town of Monthey, famous for its carnival. Geneva is a 1h45-minute drive away. In summer, there's plenty to do, including 25 kilometers of marked trails, mountain biking, tennis, horseback riding and paragliding. And in winter: take to the 2 nearby ski slopes with private lifts, ride a winter scooter or go for a ride on a dog sled.

On the menu: crème de cèpes, raclette d'alpage and saffron rice crisp, trout and fig risotto, bitter horseradish syrup and bergamot gel, or venison entrecôte, raw pear in jelly and poached in Prosecco.
