The Waldegg is a 4-star adults-only hotel located in Engelberg, in the canton of Obwalden, a 35-minute drive from Lucerne, Switzerland. All rooms face the valley and offer a magnificent view of the Titlis, a peak in the Uri Alps that rises to over 3,000 meters. Each room features a south-facing balcony.

The Wellness Area
During the day, the hotel's spa is a must-visit.
The following facilities are available: a heated indoor pool at 32°C, a traditional Finnish sauna at 85°C, a gentle aromatherapy room at 39°C with the scent of freshly mowed meadows, an indoor hot tub at 34°C, and an outdoor hot tub at 36°C. A wide range of treatments and massages are also offered.
From the pool and the outdoor hot tub, the view of the mountains is breathtaking. You could spend hours just gazing at the scenery.
Location
The Waldegg is ideally located in Engelberg, about 25 kilometers south of Lake Lucerne. The town is situated on a large plateau at an elevation of about 1,000 meters. The hotel overlooks the town and the surrounding countryside. A free shuttle service to and from the train station is available.
In the summer, explore the many hiking trails in the area on foot or by bike. There’s also the beautiful Engelberg-Titlis golf course nearby. In the winter, enjoy the large Engelberg-Titlis ski area and its 80 km of slopes.
